Incorporated in 1912, O'Fallon Missouri is a town of 79,329 residents on 22.47 square miles of land. As was much of St Charles County, O'Fallon was a quiet rural community until the 1980's when suburban growth expanded into the region. Growth continued through present day as population rose by nearly 33,000 between the 2000 and 2010 census. A large part of this growth was fueled by the Winghaven Development, by McEagle Development. This project considered the commercial needs of the area in building its homes by planning out the entire community. Several hundred homes were built around this plan in the past decade.
In 2011, 475 homes were sold in O'Fallon with an average price of $164,421, an average size of 1,791 square feet-3 beds and 2.6 baths. The average time on market was 100 days.
