Realtor Education & Designations
The quality of real estate representation is not the same for all agents. Determining the skill set of each agent can be made by reading client reviews, personal interviews, transaction volume and their education. As with most professions, Real Estate licensees in Missouri are required to fulfill 12 hours of annual continuing education. Often times, the quality of education varies, and the best educational opportunities are often are offered as part of a designation course.
Realtors that hold specific designations occasionally include their designation initials after their name on business cards and other promotional materials.
