For many soon to be medical school graduates, the final months of school have the added stress of having to submit to the process of matching in a residency program.  On the surface, this may seem mundane, however, it isn't.   In many cases, it can be consuming. 

Having control of where one will be accepting a position is something most people take for granted.   In medicine and other academic fields, the applicants choice is only one factor.   Having participated in assisting medical residents for over a decade, Chris & Lisa Grus have learned a lot about those who do and do not make it to their ideal destination, and how stressful the whole process can be.
