The World's Fair Pavilion is located on Government Hill in Forest Park. A common misconception is that the structure was created for the 1904 World's Fair hosted by St. Louis. But it was actually opened in 1910 as a gift from the Louisiana Purchase Exposition Committee to fufill their promise to restore the park after the World's Fair. The building was designed by English architect, Henry Wright, but has undergone massive restoration in the early 2000's. The large pavilion is rented out for private events including weddings because of the picturesque views from atop Government Hill.
