The St. Louis Science Center
The St. Louis Science Center is located across Interstate 64 on the Southern edge of Forest Park. It is the 25th most visited museums in the country. Like many Forest Park attractions, admission is free. But the museum's success is making science fun and interactive for all ages. Millions of visitors are amazed by Ominmax Theatre and Planetarium, but a unique feature of the museum is its bridge over highway 64 with glass floor panels where visitors can watch cars zoom by underneath and record cars' speeds. The planetarium has a simulated night sky with 9,000 stars and hosts public stargazing events.
