While this isn't a horticulture website, there's no doubt that gardening and landscaping property is a huge part of real estate.  Good looking gardens are a huge selling point for new home buyers.  Whether someone is getting their home ready to sell, or just finding a way to enjoy the property they own, developing a garden is a plus!

These pics show the front and backyard gardening that was ready to go when we listed a property in Benton Park last year in the city.  Other folks like large lots in various places in the county for gardening, but either way, a carefully planned garden and landscape can be the WINNING TICKET if it's planned ahead at the right time.
